If you are a bride in D.C. you MUST check out Floravere! I had the best experience there. My stylist, was absolutely phenomenal! She was not only attentive to me during the appointment, but also to my bridespeople! She truly listened to my likes and dislikes, and what I was not so secure about with my body, and pulled together some great options for me to try on. I ended up falling in love with the Portman dress :) The dresses are gorgeous and they have something for EVERY body type and style! Though I went to a few other shops and appointments after Floravere, it was the one I couldn't stop thinking about and eventually went back to! From the champagne and private space to the wonderful stylist, this was truly a one-of-a-kind bridal experience!
The short of it: great transparency with prices, no extra bridal tax or taxes at all, and the dress I got LITERALLY has mesh unders and it is the most Comfortable (and supportive!!) dress ever. Beyond that, the ladies who worked with me as stylists were AWESOME. NO pressure, very real, and no crazy opinions. They brought up ideas and thoughts that made sense and helped me think through stuff, let me hang out for an extra hour to see how comfy the dress actually was (verdict: VERY, very comfortable). I was wary of the quality ($1600 for lace, say what?) but I have been beyond impressed with how well the dresses were made, the design, and the sizing. All that to say, it is GREAT. go, have fun, try on comfortable dresses and enjoy a fun time at the Line!!
By far the best dress shopping experience I've had! After visiting multiple shops, Floravere was such a breath of fresh air. My stylist was really welcoming and made the entire experience comfortable and fun. The location within The Line Hotel gives a sense of luxury and it's nice to change in a hotel suite rather than in a cold room behind a curtain.
The gowns themselves are beautiful and one-of-a-kind. The entire collection has something for everyone whether you prefer more elaborate, simple, romantic, or modern looks. They're expertly crafted, and most importantly, affordable. I love the origins of the company and appreciate their effort to create reasonably-priced, beautiful, contemporary dresses. And yes, I found my dress here!
